Yachad Connect - the portal to the wider Messianic Jewish community
which will contain a section describing the
history of the movement as well as existing organizations with links to their
websites. It will also highlight service
opportunities and internship programs.
Yachad Learning - this section will gather the best the Messianic
Jewish movement has to offer in the way of on-line
education from sermons to teaching series to Bible studies leading messianic
rabbis and scholars (including our more senior and experienced leaders such as
Jamie Cowen, Russ Resnik, John Fischer, Mark
Kinzer, Stuart Dauermann, Barney
Kasdan, Carl Kinbar, Kay Silberling, etc.).
Topics will range the full spectrum of
Messianic Jewish life from prayer to ethics to Scripture study. Educational materials will be in available
for download in a variety of media including print, audio, and video. Their will also be links in this section to
Messianic Jewish educational programs with the UMJC's MJTI and TOVAH programs
at the top of the list. Central to this
section of the site will be the weekly posting of the print edition of The Set Table: A Young Messianic Shabbat
Table Guide as well as The Set Table Weekly Parashah discussion blog (see
an early version of this blog at settable.blogspot.com).
Yachad Culture - this section will be a young Messianic Jewish
portal to popular culture. The hope is that a majority of the
content in this section will be provided in conjunction with Messy Mag, which is Young Messianic
Jewish popular culture magazine currently being developed by Josh Rubinstein. We
also hope to include messianic & Jewish music downloads.
Yachad Events - this section will be the place where young Messianics
can connect to events put-on
by the Yachad Network such as Young Messianic Jewish Scholars Conference and
the Young Leaders Shabbaton, as well as UMJC Twenties and UMJCY events.
