Yachad Network exists
to connect, nurture, and equip youth and young adults to serve as a
new generation of leaders within the Messianic Jewish movement.
The word yachad can
mean “together,” “harmony,” or “unity.” The name of the
Yachad Network is derived from Psalm 133:1 which says, Hine ma
tov uma nayim, shevet achim gam yachad “Behold, how good it is
for sisters and brothers to dwell together in unity (yachad).”
Yachad Network is a diverse
community of dynamic young adults unified in our purpose to build the
future of the Messianic Jewish movement. The Yachad Network is not an
organization but rather a network of young adults supported in their
mission by the congregations and diverse organizations of the Messianic
Jewish community.
We, the members of the Yachad
Network, seek to fulfill our mission by cultivating community on the
local, national, and international levels as well as on the internet
through:
- Helping to form,
lead, and resource local groups and chavurot
of young Messianic Jews in major cities throughout the world. These
groups are the local expression of the national Yachad Network as well
as are affiliated with their local Messianic Jewish community.
- Gathering for dynamic
national and international events such as the Yachad Young Leaders Shabbaton
and the Yachad Young Messianic Jewish Scholars Conference. These events
draw young Messianic Jews together for dialogue and study, prayer and
worship, and send them back to their local communities excited about
what God is doing in the Messianic Jewish community.
- Nurturing a vibrant
virtual community at www.yachadnetwork.net where young messianic adults
can connect with one another, make their voice heard about life and
the future of our community, and connect with some of the top teaching
on topics relevant to our lives as Messianic Jews.
